Just before giving thanks and having a big ol' feast, the Wings welcomed the Bruins in to work up an appetite. Detroit hasn't been good against Boston lately. The Wings were very good against Boston in this game, except they let the Bruins tie it late and go to overtime. Vatrano won it with 1:28 to go in the OT period. Shucks.

Quick Thoughts

• Congratulations to Pavel Datsyuk for career goal #300.
• This game should have been 6-1 through two periods. Jonas Gustavsson is the king of making saves he shouldn't be making and of letting in goals that a normal human would stop (though he didn't allow a softy in this one).
• Niklas Kronwall is officially on "deserves a goal" watch. /
