The Wings came back home for a Saturday matinee game after dropping two games in Florida. Naturally, expectations weren't running terribly high pregame today. Well take your expectations and shove 'em because the Wings won in a rout.

Quick Thoughts

• Athanasiou with his first career assist. The kid made a first period mistake not shooting quick enough, his assist in the 2nd came off a quick snapper. He learns quick.
• Tomas Jurco scored!
• Still plenty to work on, but at least I can get through the rest of the weekend without panic now. /
