The Wings welcomed Winnipeg warily on Thursday night and promptly went down 2-0 in the first. Then, they tied it by the end of the 2nd. Then the third was pretty meh until Abdelkader scored the GWG then it was very good. The end.

- Jonathan Ericsson passes the puck into the net. He was looking exactly for what happened and it did. I liked that.
- Andreas Athanasiou insists on claiming the middle of the ice. This is why he creates chances. AA doesn’t take the easy route to the half-wall, he forces defenders to defend stuff. This makes a big difference.
- Chris Thorburn looks like he belongs on a Sumerian coin or something. Big scruffy idiot. /
