Wings vs. Panthers on Super Bowl Hangover Monday as the Wings tried to extend the streak of bad losses for teams named the Panthers to two straight days. It took until the third period to make it happen, but yay the Red Wings won!

Quick Thoughts

• Jaromir Jagr is still terrifyingly large and hard to handle. This is made worse by the sheer amount of stickwork he gets away with.
• I don't know how to fix the problem that cost Nyquist his goal. Honestly, the refs should have made the right call in the first place and let the inconclusive evidence fail to overturn a goal that was obviously in the net. You don't need super anti-ref-fuckup technology if the refs are better.
• Al Montoya is a pretty good goalie. /
