Saturday afternoon tilt against a team the Wings haven’t scored on all season long and it took more than two periods to get that one. Then they scored another to get it to overtime. Then they scored again. After that, they weren’t allowed to keep playing.

- RIP Niklas Kronwall
- Justin Abdelkader had a real tough time controlling his stick in this game. From passes bouncing off him to bad passes made, to the stick not being down on the ice in front of the net, to him getting it caught in the damn glass, he should probably do better using hockey equipment to play hockey.
- Henrik Lundqvist is going to get absolutely boned by smaller equipment rules. /
