Listen, before we get into this, I want to reiterate that Dylan Larkin was 13 years old when he made this video (originally uploaded in 2012) with his friend @EGizinski's basement. This was before he was drafted. Just watch this gem.

That's right, our very own 19-year-old rookie sensation Dylan Larkin called himself "D-Boss" with one of his friends in a basement before shooting pucks at a net on a YouTube video back in 2012. Yeah, it's pretty cringe-worthy. But this video made me laugh out loud in the middle of the night. In fact, I am still laughing at it. I mean, HE'S WEARING AN AMERICAN FLAG AS A CLOAK! This is the best thing that I have seen in a very, very long time. The thought of Dylan Larkin, a guy who is now a Detroit icon shooting pucks at an empty net going "OHHH SHIT" with his friend in his friend's basement in the wee-hours of the night. Never change, Dylan. You are a true American Hero.
