Yzerman, Chelios, McCarty, Larionov and more added to Red Wings vs. Avalanche Alumni game rosters

Some big (if not entirely surprising) news about the rosters for the Red Wings vs. Avalanche Alumni Game to take place before the Coors Field Stadium Series game later this month just came out:

Alumni game adds (cont.) Manny Legace, Mathieu Dandenault and Mike Knuble. Avs: Hejduk, Hinote, Kamensky, Keane, Klemm, E. Messier Podein.

Back on January 15th, we got the initial rosters, which included names like Jiri Fischer, Kris Draper, Kirk Maltby, Nick Lidstrom, Joe Kocur, Larry Murphy, and a bunch of jerks who used to play for the Avs. The new additions guarantee that the entire old Grind Line will be there.

At this point, I’d still like Osgood or Vernon to show up, but with Conklin and Legace there, we’re probably less likely to see a goalie come out of his crease to fight. Whether that’s a good thing remains to be seen.

The Alumni game will be held on Friday, February 26th at 7pm EST.
