The fake season ends tonight as the Red Wings host the Penguins at Joe Louis Arena. For the most part, the Red Wings are going to ice a full line-up for the game, with the exception of Todd Bertuzzi, Patrick Eaves and Justin Abdelkader. In the last meeting, the Penguins took a big 5-1 win as the first game in their new arena. The game wasn’t void of the growing intensity though as a Brooks Orpik knee on Johan Franzen angered the mighty Todd Bertuzzi. Will there be any carry over to today? I doubt it. Both teams are just looking to close out the preseason with full health and with Justin Abdelkader sitting out, Jonathan Ericsson is the only one that would be enforcing things.
