Detroit needs a win to keep pace in an Atlantic Division where the leaders are starting to make space and the trailers are starting to take the same. The Wings are in a tough part of their schedule for travel and facing a team so enigmatic they may as well be Russian. The Oilers have won just nine games all season; seven of those wins have come against the Eastern Conference (7-4-1 overall). Detroit is in the Eastern Conference.
The Wings keep losing to teams they should beat in ways that should not have necessarily been losses and they keep winning against teams where they get outplayed. Overall, they’re still a good team, but a great team puts the screws to the hapless Oilers tonight.
Let’s see the Wings get their first win of 2015 already.
Have fun in the comments and let’s go Red Wings.
