This one’s going to start a bit late. The Wings were delayed getting to the ACC.
Here we go with the lines, from Ansar Khan this morning.
Lines: Nyquist-Zetterberg-Franzen, Pulkkinen-Andersson-Abdelkader, Weiss-Nosek-Cleary, Miller-Glendening-Ferraro.

The top line has looked good so far, but hasn’t been able to find success. That’s only a matter of time though. Pulkkinen with Andy and Abby will have some opportunity to shine (especially since I’m assuming he’ll be on the power play as well). I’m extremely interested to see how Weiss plays after being moved to the wing. I’ve thought all preseason that he could probably do better with better linemates. He has those tonight (yes, I’m serious: Nosek and Cleary are overall better than Nestrasil and Callahan. It’s not really that close either).
Defense Kronwall-DeKeyser, Smith-Marchenko, Ouellet-Jensen. Babcock said previously that Gustavsson will start tonight. Mrazek back-up.

I like this defensive setup. Kronwall and Smith should get some good chances with their stay-at-home partners and I think Ouellet-Jensen should handle the lower level competition well.
Always love when Gustavsson starts against the Leafs.
