I want Dallas to win this series because I still dislike Tampa Bay more than I dislike the idea of Corey Perry winning another cup. It’s a battle between a Jim Nill team and a team largely comprised of Steve Yzerman’s doing. I think Tampa is the better team, but Dallas is such a wild card in how inconsistent they can be that I can’t confidently say what’s going to happen one way or another. If all the Stars’ scoring power is on, I don’t think Tampa can stop them, but Victor Hedman exists so he’s got a say in who is “on” when he’s out there.
