FIVE-YEAR FORECAST: YOUR 2023-24 DETROIT RED WINGS | The Hockey News
By the time 2023-24 rolls around, the Red Wings will have a very nice set of forwards, led by captain Larkin. Naturally, Detroit fans have to hope that player such as Svechnikov, Veleno and Zadina develop on an upward trajectory, but that’s a big part of this forecasting exercise, isn’t it?
Here’s the projected forward lineup:
Andreas Athanasiou — Dylan Larkin — Anthony Mantha
Evgeny Svechnikov — Joe Veleno — Filip Zadina
Tyler Bertuzzi — Michael Rasmussen — Albin Grewe
Givani Smith — Christoffer Ehn — Adam Erne
The rules of the article state that future draft picks, trades and the expansion draft weren’t factored in. That means this lineup is far from exact. How would you feel if this is the forward group that the Wings ice in five years?
