Before we talk any hockey, we’d like to send our thoughts and good vibes to anyone who was impacted by tornadoes in southwest Michigan on Tuesday. Scary situation that could have been much worse given how powerful the storms were. Take care, all. We’re thinking of you.

Red Wings Rumblings

Wings will pick 15th overall in 2024 NHL Draft

The most-likely outcome for Detroit was the 15th pick. San Jose won the lottery drawing and will pick 1st, while Chicago and Anaheim will pick 2nd and 3rd, respectively. The Wings have drafted at 15th overall twice in franchise history — both pretty recently: Sebastian Cossa in 2021 and Dylan Larkin in 2014.

It’s a wide belief that after Macklin Celebrini goes 1st overall, it’s a crapshoot as to what players will be off the board next. Cole Eiserman would be a great pickup if he slides to 15, which seems unlikely. We’ll just have to wait and see.. Meantime, which Draft prospect has your attention?
