No word yet on who will be backing up Lyon, but after comments following Thursday’s game I’m not entirely sold that anyone in the coaching staff has lost faith in Husso. Expecting Reimer to remain the scratch.
Keys To The Game
Be D-lightful. The offense did well on Thursday, but defense was completely sacrificed on key plays that lead to scoring opportunities (that were regularly converted on). The offense is good enough that we don’t have to cheat at protecting our own zone. They’d do well to remember that.
Feeling Special. Two (arguably three) of those defensive lapses came during ONE powerplay last time. Be mindful of aggressive pressure and keep the puck moving, especially down low.
