Sharks Blog: Fear the Fin

Last night the Red Wings sent the Predators home packing in an impressive win, penalty kill aside. But there’s no time for the team in red to rest on their laurels. The San Jose Sharks are finishing up a road trip through the Eastern Conference with a stop at the Joe, the last time the Sharks will ever play a game there (barring a Stanley Cup Final, of course.)

These tail-ends up back-to-backs are where players really have to dig down and find a spark. Fortunately for the Wings, the Sharks have also been busy lately; while they had last night off, this will be the fourth game in six days for the Sharks. They’re coming off a third period collapse in a Stanley Cup Final rematch in Pittsburgh though, so expect them to come out testy; no doubt there were talks in the locker room after Thursday night’s breakdown about a full 60 minute effort.
