This is all just rumor at this point, but the option could be on the table for Kuzy if he so chooses. It’s not like guys haven’t pulled this before and still come back to the NHL – but that’s been pretty rare and would still be a huge risk to his NHL career. My money is still on Kuzy playing the coming season in the NHL, whether it’s for the Capitals or someone else.
