Detroit Red Wings’ Mike Green (virus) believed ‘over the worst of it’ | Freep
General manager Ken Holland told the Free Press on Sunday that tests performed Friday by an infectious diseases specialist show Green, “is on the backside,” of the infection.
“He’s going to take some time off, and when he feels better, we’ll get him on a bike, see how he responds,” Holland said.
This is good news for Mike Green. In the article, Ken Holland says there’s no timetable for Green to be back on the ice and in the lineup and, in my opinion, that’s totally fine because it’s more important that he gets healthy.
Also… the Red Wings won another preseason game.
