Jeff Blashill got in front of the cameras yesterday and talked about the PTOs, Trevor Daley, the goalie situation, Petr Mrazek’s attitude, on calling Anthony Mantha elite, and most-importantly, on why the training camp squads are stacked like NHL-AHL-[other] already. For what it’s worth, I really like the answer that it basically gives them more time to practice in the teams they will be, since the team is especially trying to make sure that their special teams aren’t shit this year.

Well at least one Atlantic team was able to come to very reasonable terms with their exciting RFA who was holding out and threatening Europe. The Pastrnak deal is a really good one for the kind of production that gremlin-looking jerkwad puts up. I just hope he plays with Brad Marchand so their line can be called Pasta-with-Pest-o.
