Finally, we’ve made it to the big event of training camp. The Red & White Game marks the first serious separation of who’s getting a real look and who is just here for exposure and experience. Per the Red Wings homepage, the day will break down like this:
9:20am – Non Red & White players attend a video coaching session
9:30am – NR&W 1hr on-ice practice
10:45am – NR&W off-ice practice
11:45am – Red & White players video coaching session
12:00pm – Red & White Game
The big news for the day will be the rosters. Seeing who plays in the Red & White Game and who doesn’t will be our first major set of roster decisions for the pre-season. Keep an eye on Kyle’s potential sleeper candidates from yesterday’s open thread.
