Top Red Wings pick Moritz Seider should have made NHL debut. Now he’s back in Germany | Freep
“When you draft a guy as high as we drafted Moritz, there are high expectations,” Horcoff said. “We are really happy with where he is at, with where he was at when the league shut down. He was playing 23-plus minutes a night, sometimes 25. His offensive game is really starting to come — you’re starting to see more puck-moving ability, more pucks through to the net. His shot has improved. He is playing much more on the power play and it looks like he’s getting more and more comfortable there.”
It’s a bummer we never got to see Moritz Seider play with the Red Wings in the NHL this season. However, I guess it could technically still happen if the regular season resumes.
Happy Saturday!

Second Avs player tests positive for COVID-19 | TSN
“The Colorado Avalanche were advised late last night that a second player has tested positive for COVID-19. The player is in self-isolation. All other Avalanche players, staff and others who might have had close contact with the player have been informed and remain isolated as per prior League direction and are monitoring their health and will be in touch with Club medical staff as necessary. No other Avalanche player or staff member has shown symptoms at this time,” the team said in a statement.
Not ideal.
