The Detroit Red Wings are looking to keep the momentum going to close out what has been a fruitful month of January. The Wings have been off since Thursday night, when they shutout the Philadelphia Flyers at Little Caesars Arena.
The tough keeps gettin’ tougher. The Vegas Golden Knights roll into Detroit tonight on the heels of back-to-back wins. The Wings will have their work cut out for them.
Some Promising News out of Grand Rapids
Ville Husso returned to action Friday night on a conditioning stint with the Grand Rapids Griffins. Husso posted a shutout, leading the Griffins to a 3-0 win. Expect he’ll be back to playing in the NHL soon. We’ll see if the team is content carrying three goalies or they go a different direction. At the end of the day, it’s good news that Husso is healthy.
