The slumping Red Wings are back in Sunrise, Florida today for an early afternoon game against the Panthers, who are fresh off of a loss. Despite that, the Cats have clinched a playoff berth. Detroit, however, is still struggling to keep up in the wild card picture.
It’s likely the Wings are without some players today. Patrick Kane and Austin Czarnik are questionable with an illness… Detroit called up Zach Aston-Reese from Grand Rapids yesterday as insurance:
