They’re fallible! They’re actually fallible!
After a record setting season, the Bruins lost key players Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci. But nobody told the rest of the Bruins squad that these roster losses were supposed to make them worse, until the Ducks came along and snagged an OT win against them.
That was Thursday. Brad Marchand is going to have this team READY and MAD. Coming off our own 2-game skid, and visiting their barn, the Wings are absolutely going to be tested tonight.

Berggren not out there (GR?)
There are absolutely some choices here. Berggren sitting, Määttä potentially sitting (unless they decide to go 11/7 again), and dropping Ras in what I assume is an attempt to spark the 3rd line. I’ve been ready to see Lyon in action for a while now, but if he’s behind Husso tonight then I very much hope tonight isn’t his debut.
Key To The Game
Be A Goldfish. As much as we’d like to imagine otherwise, Boston is still a VERY good team on a VERY good start to the season. We are going to make some mistakes, and the Bruins will absolutely take advantage of those mistakes. Everyone tonight needs to have 10-second memories – if you eat it for a shift, don’t linger on the mistakes and just get things right on the next shift. That’s still the only way to beat the Bruins, and everyone is going to have to play like that tonight. Just get your next shift right.

UPDATES
Apparently, one of the refs that missed the Schwartz stick-toss is working tonight. That’s either going to go very well for us or very poorly. There will be no in-between.
