The Wings look to drop a little revenge on the Rangers for the overtime loss in early November at Madison Square Garden. Since that meetup, the Rangers have earned 12 points in 12 games while Detroit has snapped up 19 in 13. New York hasn’t played since Monday (a 6-3 loss to Tampa) and will have another four day break next week. Meanwhile the Wings have been playing every other day for as long as I can remember.
Detroit is a better team than the Rangers, but New York shouldn’t be taken lightly. Rick Nash is a powerful player and they’ve got a bunch of hard-hitting/fast skating players. This one’s going to be won in the trenches. I hope we brought enough shovels.
Have fun in the comments and let’s go Red Wings.
