The Wings are riding a three-game winning streak as they arrive in Buffalo for their tilt against the last-place Sabres.
Buffalo got the best of Detroit the last time they met, winning 4-3 at the Joe Louis Arena. The good news is that the Red Wings lineup has a completely different look to it now. And even better, it sounds like Darren Helm will be returning tonight, and Drew Miller will be taken out of the lineup. The Wings could actually roll a four-line assault now that Helm and Abdelkader have been placed on the 4th line. I don’t want to say this could get the wheels turning for the team, but they could get the wheels turning for the team.
After beating two of the East’s strongest teams, the Wings should absolutely win this game. But, if anything about this season has taught us something, everything in life is completely unpredictable and the sun will eventually explode.
