Morning Skate: Red Wings at Rangers

New York, NY

TV: NBCSN, SportsNet 1

Radio: 97.1 The Ticket

Rangers Blogs: Blueshirt Banter

The Wings play the Rangers tonight, well.. at least I hope they plan on actually playing tonight. Apparently Jimmy Howard was the only one who knew the Wings had a game last night, and after two abysmal games in a row the Wings had better get their poop in a group and play like the devil is hot on their tail and blowing fire up their asses. I’m pissed off about last night not only because of the piss poor showing by the skaters, but also because they pissed away 2 points against the Senators, and 1 against the Sabres and those are freaking points we need and points that could really hurt us at the end of the season.

I expect more from the team I love, I know they can do a lot better, and I have no idea why they were “rotten” last night, as Mike Babcock said after the game. All I know is that I expect them to bounce back with a vengeance and flush that turd down the toiled never to be seen again.

Monster gets the start tonight, and when asked last night if there would be changes for the game tonight, Mike, Babcock said “oh for sure”, something needs to change after these last two games, that’s for sure. This team is far better than their last two performances, let’s see it tonight on the ice, eh?
