Morning Skate: Red Wings @ Blue Jackets, Predicted Lineups, How to Watch

Time: 7:00pm ET

Place: Nationwide Arena

TV: FSD, FSOH

Radio: 97.1 FM The Ticket, 1270 AM

Jackets blog: The Cannon

Red Wings and Blue Jackets were both in action last night with us playing the Golden Knights and them playing the Avalanche. They’re enjoying a home stand while we are now hitting the road and trying to not lose our 6th in a row.

Against Vegas, we gave up a shorthanded goal during Tatar’s penalty and that seems unfair. Wings went for a change and it became a two on none against Jimmy.  The game continued to spiral through the second period going into the third down 4-0. Depressing. It was all just very depressing and sad, but hey our penalty kill worked…

Meanwhile, the Blue Jackets are hungry to hang on to a playoff spot, and are trying to get going to go on a tear through their somewhat soft March schedule, so we’ll need to kick off our road trip by being awake for the entire game, which is always a struggle. They beat the Avs in 5-4 last night in OT, so they’ve got some momentum coming in plus the homestand advantage.

What is there to say other than process, compete level, hustle, heart, grit, blah blah blah JUST WIN A GAME. Even if it is the ugliest garbage win, we’ll take it.

Let’s Go Red Wings!
