Fun intro about Svechnikov brothers

The Red Wings and Hurricanes are both entering tonight’s contest coming off wins on Tuesday (hahaha Oilers). And both teams were equally successful in the games leading up to Tuesday no need to look that up just take my word for it.

We know what our problems are [just kind of waves at everything] but we have a tiny spark of momentum from our win on Tuesday (hahaha Oilers) and this may very well be another one of those trap games where we go ruin someone’s party (hahaha Montreal).

I’m not sure if Mrazek starting would help us or hurt us in our quest to dodge the Storm Surge. We’ll see how that shakes out with the lineups today. If the pattern holds, we’ll be seeing Bernier as our backstop tonight.

Welcome to Hockeytown, Brendan Perlini! He practiced with the team yesterday and is expected to make his first start with the Wings today. It was a low risk trade that we hope will help spark some new offense. Looking at you Taro.

What are the Canes up to? Their win against the Flames was no stroll in the park, they won in style with a lacrosse-style goal from The Other Svechnikov. The Canes are the NHL team that dares to show emotion and, surprising no one, that gives them a lot of drive even if they give up an early goal. That whole playing a 60 minute game hustle heart grit deal.

If we have a lead with two minutes to go in the 3rd, expect to see OT.

Let’s Go Red Wings!
