Morning Skate: Red Wings @ Predators, Predicted Lineups, How to Watch

Time: 8:00pm ET

Place: Bridgestone Arena

TV: FSD, FSTN

Radio: 97.1 FM The Ticket, 1270 AM

Predators blog: On the Forecheck

Wings are coming into Nashville after a 4-1 butt kicking by the Lightning in Tampa on Thursday. I’m not sure we’ve heard Blashill use the term “bitterly” before, but he is “bitterly frustrated” and “bitterly disappointed” about the loss in Tampa.

Preds sit atop the Central Division with a small points cushion and have gone 6-2-2 their last 10. They are coming in off a loss to the Flames, and in general they feel they haven’t been performing their best lately. They have been rallying in the third period, and as you all know stopping third period rallies is something we are not necessarily proficient at, to put it politely.

We’ll be seeing the Preds back at home on Tuesday as part of a four game homestand before we hit the road for…ever. Just about forever.

It’s hard to predict how solid the Preds will play, but if we do manage to run the score up on them that lead won’t feel safe until about an hour after the game ends.

Let’s Go Red Wings!
