I think most of us have the Red Wings missing the playoffs again this season, but dead last in the East? That’s what the folks at Bovada seem to think. I’d like to say that I dont trust the odds listed in the article based on how they’re projecting other teams… but these guys do this for a living and make millions at it.
It’s important to remember that these odds are set where they think they can make the most money from people placing bets, and not necessarily where they think the actual odds are. But, still – this doesn’t seem like it bodes well.

Recently returned to Red Deer, apparently 3rd Round draft pick Lane Zablocki had quite the enjoyable camp experience while getting some skating time in with captain Henrik Zetterberg. Hopefully, Hank imparted some sage-like wisdom to Zablocki and he can come out making an impression to start the WHL season.

And it looks…. (drumroll please…. seriously, gimme a ratta-tat-tap on whatever’s close…. table, window, spouse’s head…)…. well, it looks…. idk, better than last year’s? It’s a fine logo, I guess, but I don’t see much that really makes it POP for me. At least it looks like they’re using a color scheme that won’t involve jerseys that can double as cross-walk safety vests…
