Wings keep focus on winning, as playoff hopes fade | Detroit News
While I don’t necessarily agree with every move Ken Holland and Jeff Blashill have made in regards to the Red Wings the past two seasons, I do appreciate the emphasis on trying to win. They have a point in keeping a strong culture for the young players. There hasn’t been a lot of it lately, but winning games is important. I understand their train of thought, but they can’t let it get in the way of actually giving the youth on the team and in Grand Rapids an actual chance to impact whether the team wins or loses.

This is really, really cool.
Marjory Stoneman Douglas’ hockey team practiced at the BB&T Center. Then the Stanley Cup arrived. Pretty cool. pic.twitter.com/eiVRt3VJbN
