This is what I want to read.
Ken Holland is kicking those tires and then circling the car and kicking them again. Getting as many assets as possible is incredibly helpful when rebuilding. It gives the Red Wings more chances to hit on one of their draft picks.

All the usual suspects are mentioned for the Wings in their trade deadline game plan and the focus is Mike Green.
If the Wings can’t pull at least what the Blues got for Kevin Shattenkirk last season, it’ll be a whiff.
I agree with this, but the biggest thing for me is getting that 1st round pick. If Holland can add that to the Detroit’s own 1st and their two early 2nd rounders, that should give the team four picks in the top 40 (give or take). That’s huge.
