I’ve been having these same thoughts myself, and mentioned this in the recap for the CBJ game. Essentially, it boils down to this: if we’re gonna keep him, play him… and if we aren’t going to play him, trade him. All that said, I do wonder if his first start is about a week away – with two jet-lagged goalers (not to mention a jet-lagged team) on the other side of the Global Series, maybe that’s when we finally see Lyon suit up. If it doesn’t happen shortly after that, I’m going to seriously wonder what’s going on that isn’t out in public.
