Skilled forwards played on the same line and collaborated on the winning goal in the development camp scrimmage. Quotes from Zadina and Rasmussen showed great promise about their attitudes as well, but I like this piece from Shawn Horcoff

LA Kings Agree to Terms with Drew Doughty on 8-Year Contract Extension
The Doughty deal, which will be announced officially later today is said to be for $11M AAV and will set the market for #1 D-Men going forward it seems. I’m curious to see how much Doughty is costing Erik Karlsson here, since I don’t think Karlsson is going to be able to demand that much, although him going true UFA could very well lead to busting through that ceiling. It’s just that Doughty being a cup-winner and also not European automatically makes him more-valuable based on the old-boys GM club mentality.
