In Red Wings Land
Red Wings’ Jimmy Howard out Sunday (lower-body injury) | MLive.com
It’s January and the Red Wings’ netminder has been playing well of late, so you know what to expect here:
“He tried to skate this morning and couldn’t do everything he wanted to do to be comfortable to play,” Blashill said after practice Saturday.
Khan calls him day-to-day but also notes Blashill wouldn’t comment on his confidence whether Howard would be good to go for next Saturday. Tatar and Zetterberg also skipped Saturday’s practice, but are expected to be in.

World Juniors 2018: Don’t get upset at Lias Andersson for throwing his silver medal – SBNation.com
The only thing in this article I seem to agree with is that I’m not upset at Lias Andersson. I disagree with the title saying don’t get upset (fan policing) and I disagree with the part about how it would somehow be unacceptable for an NHLer to do this because they’re older, and I disagree with even calling the move a dumb, teachable moment. It’s just a medal. If he’s given the opportunity to reflect and still doesn’t value it then good on him. Feel free to feel however you’d like about it though.
