We fans aren’t the only ones having fun during the off-season. Razor and Mo got to visit training camp for what’s expected to be the most successful Detroit sports team this season – wow that was a frightening few words to type! Seriously though, who expected St Brown to start speaking German with Mo? I just hope whatever success the Lions have this season can start rubbing off on all the other teams. It’s always more fun when everyone is doing well – think back to about 2000-2010 when the Wings, Tigers, and Pistons were all making regular playoff appearances (and the Lions were… well… existing…). It would be fantastic to have all 4 major teams firing on all cylinders at the same time!

No no no, the Sharks were the winners of the Karlsson trade.

Honestly, at the moment, I’m prepared to believe that all 3 teams won the trade. This seems like it could work out well for everyone involved.

However, I think there’s also a very real scenario where it turns out that all 3 teams are viewed as losers of the trade within 3-4 years.

Right now, I’m just going to be happy that Karlsson didn’t land in the Atlantic.
