In Red Wings Land
Filip Zadina main reason to watch Red Wings during bleak season | MLive
“I had a clear shot and clear view of the net,” Zadina said. “I tried to hit the spot where I wanted to hit it and I did, and it went in.”
Zadina is much more confident than he was in training camp, when he appeared to be pressing in an effort to make the season-opening roster.
“Obviously, he’s really dangerous on the power play. You can see it with his shot,” Justin Abdelkader said. “He’s going to continue to get some great experiences up here and hopefully build his confidence. As you see pucks go in, when you get the puck on your stick you want to shoot it even more.”
Just how good has Filip Zadina been since joining the Red Wings? Prashanth has the numbers:
Since his call-up (11/24), Zadina is tied for 2nd in points (10) and is 2nd among Red Wings forwards in 5v5 expected goals for percentage (score- and venue-adjusted)

All of this is a fancy way of saying he's having a sizable impact on the team
