It was about a week ago when the Detroit Red Wings rolled into the desert only to get their asses kicked by the Arizona Coyotes. Tonight, the Wings host the Yotes at LCA, looking desperately to snap a six-game losing streak. We can expect a very different lineup for tonight’s game, as head coach Derek Lalonde fired up the ol’ line blender at practice Wednesday.
In addition to new line combos, the Wings recalled forward Austin Czarnik from the Grand Rapids Griffins this morning. According to Lalonde, Daniel Sprong will be scratched and Czarnik will take his spot. Alex Lyon gets the start.
