Game Day Updates: Habs vs. Wings

Credit: David Kirouac-USA TODAY Sports

The Wings are back tonight, hot off a big OT win over Toronto on Saturday. Detroit, still vyying for that second Wild Card spot, isn’t in control of its destiny at this point — but they still need to win to get in. They’ll need some help from out of town if they’re to make it into the playoffs.

The Wings are closing out the season with a back-to-back against Montreal, the second-worst team in the Eastern Conference in terms of record. The Habs will look to close the season out on a strong note, so don’t expect an easy matchup tonight or tomorrow.

We expect to see Alex Lyon back in net tonight, and a similar lineup as we saw in Toronto.
