Game Day Updates: Wings vs. Coyotes

Despite the three-game skid, the Detroit Red Wings are still 6-4-0 over the last 10 games. Tonight is shaping up to be a critical game for the Wings in the desert. Two points are needed if Detroit wants to stay firmly in the wild card picture.

Arizona has just two wins dating back to January 24. If you can’t get some points tonight, I’m not sure what else to say.

It was a quiet trade deadline for Steve Yzerman. He shipped Klim Kostin off to San Jose and that’s it. We expect a call-up tomorrow, and you can bet that it will be Jonatan Berggren, as he is out of the Griffins lineup tonight.
