Tatar might be a little banged up from hit he took in LA game. Would explain why he’s not on power play. #RedWings

Kyle’s Keys to Success
Neutralize Brent Burns
As we all know, Brent Burns is a pain in the ass to play against. The Red Wings are going to have their hands full trying to keep him tame, so matchups are going to need close attention. Best way to burn the Burns is to use speed, which the Wings have plenty of.
Jared Coreau: Large, and in Charge
The newest movement in Red Wings goaltending is rookie Jared Coreau. He’ll play a big key going forward, as would any goaltender. Simply put, this team needs strong goaltending to succeed.
Let Thomas Vanek do the Driving
Thomas Vanek is the straw that stirs the drink wherever he plays. I think the Red Wings need to lean on this and keep him with Nielsen and Athanasiou. If not for the best chance to win, then the best chance to inflate his trade value for later on.
