GameThread: Red Wings vs Wild

On the heels of a three-game losing streak, the Red Wings head out to St. Paul to face the Minnesota Wild.

The Wild are also on a three-game losing streak, losing Monday 4-3 to the Dallas Stars. Guillaume Latendresse has been on fire, with four goals and eight points in the last four games, including a hat trick against the Phoenix Coyotes. The Wild sit in 12th place in the West. The Wild’s Twitter feed reports that Brent Burns may return tonight from a concussion

For the Red Wings, they’re forced to take the moral victories out of the last three. Mike Babcock was quoted on the Red Wings site as noting that the team is playing well at least, despite earning only two points in three games.

Puck drop is at 8:00 pm ET, with the game on Fox Sports Detroit and KSTC in Minneapolis. Please feel free to comment below.
