Listen to Fer Sure: Episode 76 - The Series Finale: Featuring Jay Tuohey
So this is it. After 4 years and 76 episodes, we have recorded our final episode. Thankfully, we were able to close out the show with Jay returning for the final episode to join Sara and me.
The first segment focuses on why I am leaving Winging it in Motown after five years, and mostly, why I decided to end the podcast. We talked about the recent events in NHL news that have made me feel this way, and Jay and Sara shared their thoughts about it all.
We wanted the majority of the show to be fun, though! So the second segment is a look back on our favorite moments from the four years of doing the show.
The third segment features a few mailbag questions that we sort of answered, but had a lot of fun with. Then we closed out with one final game. I hope you enjoy playing along with Jay and Sara as they try to determine which questions are shocking moments in video game history and which ones I made up in the game “The Shock and the Spurious.”
If you are using a podcast app, you can find both this podcast and WIIM Radio (our podcast devoted to the Red Wings) in the same channel - Winging it in Motown. As of right now, you can’t find it on Google Play, but an app like Stitcher should work if you use an Android device for your podcast listening. Also, you can now find us on Spotify! Thank you to JJ for encouraging me to start a podcast, Jay for being an amazing co-creator and co-host, Sara for taking the reins when Jay left and doing an amazing job, every guest who has taken time out of their lives to talk to us for a little while, and our listeners for listening over the years.
