NJ Blog: All About The Jersey
Tonight is about building off the solid win against the Flames and entering the Christmas break on a high note. There's also a nice little revenge factor in this game. I'd appreciate it if the Wings righted the wrong of blowing the game 10 days or so ago in New Jersey.
A lot of unknowns in the lineup at the moment. Jonathan Ericsson is still questionable to return due to an upper body injury. If he doesn't play, Jakub Kindl will get another chance or Xavier Ouellet will get his shot. Either way, the defensive pairs were shaken up yesterday in practice. Danny DeKeyser has moved up next to Niklas Kronwall. Mike Green is now with Brendan Smith. We'll see if those stick come game time.
As far as the forwards go, Jeff Blashill said he hadn't decided if Tomas Nosek will make his debut. I'd personally like to see him get a shot on the 4th line in place on Joakim Andersson. That 4th line might actually be good. No word on who's officially starting in net either. As always, we will update the lines after the Wings morning skate!
