Let’s get ready to kick off the 2nd half of the season as two teams who are undefeated in 2020 go head-to-head for ultimate dominance.
Sure, the Red Wings are only undefeated in this decade because they’ve yet to play a game, but look out anyway because they roared out of 2019 with a thunderous destruction of the San Jose Sharks. Like our heroic Red Wings, the dim Stars also beat a Western Conference team by two goals in their last game: a 4-2 victory over the Nashville Predators at the Winter Classic.
In lineup news, it looks like Mike Green will be back in after missing the New Year’s Eve game to attend a family matter. It also looks like sentient spoiled McNugget Corey Perry will miss this game with a suspension from a dirty hit laid in the first period of the outdoor game. Based on the practice lines, Biega appears the odd-man out:

Also of interest, this is the Red Wings’ moms trip, so look for the boys to be on their best behavior tonight.
