Okay, so that wasn’t the most exciting hockey game on Tuesday night, if you really want to put me to the screws. I certainly enjoyed it, but hopefully this one has a bit more pep in its step. No shocking changes to either team that we know of, but as we figure things out we will post it in the Game Day Updates page. Let’s just hope that the Wings can get to the inside and ignite some offense. It’s gotta be coming one of these games, where they ratchet out four or more goals. Why not tonight?

I promised in the recap that this sequel would be different. I’m predicting The Dark Knight quality of a game. Big reach, I know, but something good has to break the way of the Wings.   Tuesday was more of a Batman Begins sort of a game, pretty good but lacking that oompf that you were hoping for. In Batman Begins, the oompf would have been letting the Scarecrow actually be the real villain. In the case of the Red Wings, the oompf would have been, you know, winning the game.

The real point is Scarecrow is the best Batman rogue. You’re not going to tell my inner 10-year-old otherwise.
