The Rangers will once again try to stave off elimination against the Penguins. They got here thanks to a goal outburst on Friday. It's possible that the monkey is now off their back and they can continue to look like that for the rest of the series, which would put Pittsburgh in serious trouble, but something tells me that was them pouring all they had into that one game and now they can at least lose the series proudly. I hope I'm wrong.
But hey, there's a good chance of that, because I've been wrong about lots of stuff in these playoffs.
For instance, I figured Chicago would sweep the Wild and now it's a 2-2 series after Minny used their friendly confines to stymie the Hawks. Tonight's game heads back to the United Center, where the Hawks won the first two games of this series in convincing fashion. No idea what to expect here.
Today's non-hockey topic: how great your mom is.
