To the people who think Yzerman is snubbing the Wings, there are two reasons why he is not. Professionalism and Ken Holland. Yzerman obviously wants to be a GM, that’s why he left Detroit in the first place. As long as Holland remains our GM, which I expect and hope he will be for the foreseeable future, Yzerman will not return to Detroit.

Interesting article and topic. I have to admit, I bash on Panthers’ fans all of the time, mostly because there are roughly two that exist. The reason why Northerners and Canadians tend to hate the Southern teams so much is that those teams were a product of teams leaving Canada. You can understand why people are mad that there is not a team in Quebec City but there is a team in Arizona, two in Florida, a team in Texas, and a team in North Carolina.
