NHL draft lottery: New York Rangers win Lafrenière sweepstakes
The NHL made a mockery of the draft lottery this year, rewarding a team that was deemed good enough to partake in the 2020 playoffs.

The New York Rangers, who finished with 79 points, won the right to make the first selection, which is expected to be left wing Alexis Lafrenière. The draft is scheduled to take place Oct. 9-10.

Helene doesn’t hold back, treating the NHL like a Swedish winger who scored points after his team was eliminated from the playoffs.
