It’s nice to see a little love from the main page, as well as a little hype for tonight’s tilt. Objectively, and though it pains me to say it, I do see a clearer path TO the playoffs for the ice birds. However, I think the Wings are going to be structured in a way that will make them a deeper playoff team once they finally get there – the Pens are basically set up to be Toronto-lite, an all-offense-no-defense regular season paper tiger that folds under real post-season pressure. It’s going to be fun to see how our aggressive forecheck matches up against them.

Quick – before you read, guess how many Red Wings players made the list. Now make an educated guess based on the facts that ESPN, known for their fantastic hockey coverage, made the list AND saw fit to list Nazem Kadri at 86… all that said, it went about how I thought it would except that the listed Wings were all too low. I am in no way biased about that.
